Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 12 |

Series:

What if spiritual gifts aren’t the ultimate goal? What if there’s something even more important than prophecy, healing, wisdom, or faith?

In this message, Sarah Horder explores Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians 12-14 and reminds us that while the Holy Spirit gives wonderful gifts to build up the church, love must always be at the centre. Spiritual gifts are powerful and should be eagerly desired, but they were never intended to operate apart from the character of Jesus. God doesn’t give gifts to make us look impressive. He gives them so that people can experience His love, encouragement, healing, and hope through us.

This message is both a challenge and an invitation: to pursue the gifts of the Spirit wholeheartedly while allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts. As we remain in God’s love, we become people who not only demonstrate His power but also reflect His character.
