The GateWay is a spacious building, equipped in a comfortable style and suitable for events such as conferences, seminars, staff training, receptions, etc. We offer a range of rooms to meet different scale events and meetings making the GateWay the perfect location to host your next event whatever size that may be. The building is alarmed for fire and theft and there is parking for approximately 40 cars, with additional space in nearby town centre car parks.

This is a 650 seater max large flat floor space and the seating arrangements can suit your requirements.  There is a stage and the auditorium has the capability of providing audio and visual facilities along with lighting for the stage area.  Why not come and have a look for yourself.  You won’t be disappointed!

Cost: £350 Half Day (4 hours), £660 (8 hours), £960 Full Day (12 Hours)


This room is on the first floor (no lift) and is a well used room by those wishing to seat 25 or 12 boardroom style.  Flip chart and a white board are available.

Cost: £20 per hour


This is a comfortable room suitable for smaller groups up to 20 max and has a small kitchen facility along with 2 adjacent toilets and baby changing facilities.

This is a hard flat floor space that is able to seat 150 max.  There is no audio, visual or lighting capabilities but this area is often used by groups that only require a large floor space.

Cost £50 per hour


This room is on the first floor (no lift) and is a well used room by those wishing to seat 25 or 12 boardroom style. Smart TV, flip chart and a white board are available.

Cost £20 per hour

We use the Gateway to hold our popular Infalatable Fun Days which we hold 3 times a year in the main hall. The venue is excellent with many facilities including ample parking, and a lovely on site café. The staff and volunteers are always friendly, happy and accommodating. Overall an excellent venue to hold your event!

  • Catering or Audio/Visual charges will be in addition to the standard hiring charges for the rooms.
  • Users will be invoiced after the event and payment is required within 14 days.
  • Cancellation of bookings that have included catering will incur a 100% charge if cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the event.
  • Setting up and breaking down times should be included in the hire period.
