Mission – Sim Ashford

What if mission isn’t about having all the answers, standing on a street corner, or becoming someone extraordinary? What if it’s simply about living honestly as a follower of Jesus wherever you are?

In this message, Sim Ashford explores how God’s mission begins with remembering His love, learning to listen to His voice, and then living authentically in everyday life. Through the stories of the church in Ephesus, Elijah, and the early disciples, Sim reminds us that God’s Spirit often speaks in whispers rather than shouts and that ordinary people filled with the Spirit remain God’s plan to change the world.

Rather than seeing mission as something reserved for evangelists or missionaries, we’re invited to see it as sharing our lives honestly. Whether at work, with friends, in the supermarket, at school, or on the sports field, Jesus calls us to carry His love into the places we already inhabit.
