WHO WE ARE
Yeovil4Family is a community-based Early Help programme supporting parents and carers across Yeovil. We run weekday Peer Support Groups during term time, with short-term 1:1 support available if you need a bit of extra help.
Parenting can be challenging, and no one should have to do it alone. Our groups provide safe, welcoming spaces where you can talk openly, share experiences, and connect with other parents who understand what you’re going through.
We’re passionate about helping families feel more confident and supported. By listening to the parents who attend, we shape our groups around real needs, helping you build skills, confidence, and supportive relationships along the way.
WHAT WE DO
Our Early Help Programme meets a real need for parents and carers by running Peer Support Groups across Yeovil every weekday during term time, and often some groups during the school holidays. These groups give you the chance to take a breath, have a cuppa, and talk things through in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Most of our groups run from The Gateway, with others based on the east and west sides of Yeovil, making it easier for families across the town to access support.
Groups are led by friendly, experienced Link Workers who are there to offer support. Each group has a specific focus, and we often work alongside partner organisations and professionals to provide workshops and make sure parents get the right support at the right time.
Sometimes life throws a curveball, whether it’s family pressures, wellbeing, behaviour challenges, or changes at home. If things feel overwhelming, we’re there for you and can offer our group members some short-term 1:1 support to help you through more difficult moments.
