Prayer Week 2023 19 - 26th March
Every year we hold a week of prayer to gather the church together to focus on God, grow deep in intimacy, and explore what God is doing amongst us as a community. We are excited to gather together from the 19 – 26th of March this year and would love you to participate. We will be praying in a number of different ways, mainly through a week of 24/7 prayer. We will be opening a space in the building for you to come and pray alone, with your family or small group, etc. as well as encouraging people to pray in their own homes. We would love to fill the full week of prayer slots which you can sign up for here.
We will be holding events throughout the week with different themes as possible as well as our usual morning and lunchtime online prayer calls. However, you can we would love you to join us during the week so please get involved!
WHAT TO PRAY FOR
- Pray for the various teams within YCC (Y4F, reception, coffee shop, Lord’s Larder etc).
- Pray for others in the community and for our international links
- Pray for Ukraine
- Pray for Turkey/Syria
- Pray for the Government/world leaders…
- Pray for renewal and revival
- Pray for Yeovil and the surrounding areas – for transformation in people and place
24-7 Prayer
Throughout the week we want to fill every 1 hour slot in the 7 days. We will be setting a room aside in the building where you can come and pray, join with others, engage with resources and be lead in how to pray. You can also sign up for a slot and pray in your home, work-place or wherever you are in the world. We want this week to be accessible to all so would encourage you to sign up as small groups, families, prayer triplets and friends to fill the slots.
Online Prayer Meetings
We will continue to hold our twice daily online prayer calls at 7.30 am and 12.30 pm on Microsoft teams. You are welcome and invited to join these calls. To join the morning call click here, or for the lunchtime call click here.
Weekend Gathering
On the Saturday night at The GateWay we will be holding an evening gathering of prayer and worship. This will be a time to gather corporately together, explore more of the themes that have been coming up through the week and push deeper into God’s presence. 7.30 – 9.00 pm at The GateWay – we would love to see you there.
