Event Series Event Series: Liminal

Liminal is a multi-sensory experience that encourages a deeper spiritual engagement with the Easter narrative. On Good Friday, we have a contemporary iteration of Tenebrae, an ancient service that wrestles with themes of loss and separation and doubt. On Saturday, we offer a Soundbath –  an ambient soundscape of predominantly modern Icelandic music, designed to help our journey from the desolation of the cross to the possibility of love and resurrection.

8pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday at the Gateway. Each session should last about an hour. You don’t have to come to both, but they are designed to be complimentary.  Liminal may explore difficult themes or contain strong language, so is recommended for over sixteens only.
